Lessons from 11 Years

As I celebrate 11 wonderful years with PaperPie, I’m reflecting on this incredible journey and the lessons I’ve learned about inspiring a love of reading. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with families, sharing stories, and building a business rooted in purpose and passion.

Books have the power to shape minds, create connections, and inspire future generations—and that’s why I’m so excited to share my Top 11 Tips for Inspiring Readers with you. Whether you’re nurturing a love of reading in your children, encouraging reluctant readers, or exploring stories for yourself, these tips are for you!

Top 11 Tips for Inspiring Readers

1️⃣ Find your passion: Choose books and topics you love—your enthusiasm will be contagious!
2️⃣ Create cozy reading spaces: A comfy nook with pillows and blankets can make reading a special experience.
3️⃣ Make reading a routine: Set aside time each day for reading, whether it’s a bedtime story or a family read-aloud session.
4️⃣ Be a role model: Let your kids see you reading—lead by example.
5️⃣ Offer variety: Introduce a mix of genres, formats (picture books, chapter books, graphic novels), and topics to keep things exciting.
