🎉11 Years with PaperPie: My Journey to Inspiring Readers

I can hardly believe it’s been 11 incredible years since I first joined PaperPie (formerly Usborne Books & More). What began as a way to get free and discounted books for my kids has grown into a mission-driven business that inspires future generations, encourages a love of reading, and truly makes a difference.

As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with gratitude—for the challenges that shaped me, the triumphs that encouraged me, and, most of all, the people who have supported me along the way.

My Journey

When I first started, I had no intention of building a business. My plan was to share books occasionally with friends and family. But as I witnessed the incredible impact these books had—on my own children and the families I served—I knew this was more than just a side gig.

Within my first year, I earned two success kits, promoted to Team Leader, joined the Presidents Club, and even funded my first family vacation in six years. I was hooked—not just on the rewards, but on the joy of seeing children who once hated reading fall in love with books.

Over the years, my journey has been filled with incredible milestones:

• Team Success: Helping my team sell over half a million dollars in books in my first three years.

• Community Impact: Building relationships with families, schools, and organizations to donate hundreds of books.

• Parent Connection: Encouraging parents to connect with their kids through reading and learning.

Career Achievements:

• Earned a spot in the Presidents Club – 5 times between 2014-2016

• Promoted to Team Leader – September 2014

• Promoted to Senior Team Leader – May 2015

• Promoted to Executive Leader – October 2015

• Awarded #9 Nationally Central Group Recruiting – 2015

Looking back, I’m amazed by how much this journey has blessed me:

• For 9 years, I had the incredible privilege of staying home with my kids while still contributing to my family’s income through this business.

• Over the past 2 years, as I navigated life changes and a divorce, this business gave me the flexibility to balance working outside the home while continuing to serve my customers.

• Most recently, this past year, I was able to launch another business—a dream made possible because of the foundation and success I’ve built here💖
