
The Kitsap Reading Trail is a fun, self-paced summer reading experience designed for families across Kitsap County! From July 25 to Sept 25, kids will explore local businesses and read featured children’s books placed at each stop along the way.
At each stop, they’ll get their Reading Trail Map stamped or stickered. Complete the map, and they’ll receive a prize — plus be entered into a final giveaway!
This event is FREE to participate in and perfect for summer break fun!

The Kitsap Reading Trail is a free, family-friendly literacy adventure happening July 25 – Sept 25, 2025!
Designed to keep reading fun and accessible during the summer, this self-paced program invites families to explore local businesses, read a featured children’s book at each stop, and collect stamps on their Reading Trail Map.
Families who complete the full trail will be eligible for a grand prize drawing, and every child who finishes will receive a guaranteed small reward!
We’re still finalizing stops and prizes, but registration ensures you’ll be the first to get updates, map access, and prize info.

Yes! There’s no cost to join the Reading Trail or visit any of the stops.
The trail is best for ages 3–11, but families with toddlers and older siblings can all enjoy!
You can download a map above or grab a map at any participating business.
Absolutely! Visit the stops in any order, and go at your own pace.
